Time Details
7:00 hrs. Centara Grand at Central World.
Meet at the lobby.
7.45 hrs. Depart from Bangkok by air-conditioned coaches to Ayutthaya province.
9:00 hrs. – 12:00 hrs. Tour by air conditioning. Private 3 bus.

Arrive Ayutthaya, the world heritage ancient city, former capital of Thailand (B.E. 1350-1767). Ayutthaya was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site on December 13th, 1991.

By Coach Private (Buddhist temples): Wat Mahathat – Wat Phra Sri Sanphet – Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit – Wat  Lokaya Sutharam

  • The Wat Mahathat is a Buddhist temple in Ayutthaya, central Thailand. One of the most amazing Buddha’s head in the root of the Bodhi tree, also it was the royal monastery and served as the residence of the supreme monk in the early Ayutthaya period.
  • Wat Phra Sri Sanphet is the largest and the most important temple with the Royal palace and the temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok.
  • Vihara Phra Mongkhon Bophit is located next to Wat Phra Sri Sanphet. There is a large bronze Buddha image which was originally enshrined in the open area outside the royal monastery and later covered by this chapel.
  • Wat  Lokaya Sutharam, it is believed to be built in the middle phase of Ayutthaya Era. It is also believed that there has been a pantheon built to shelter the Buddha image, but the pantheon was destroyed. The Buddha image has been renovated many times, especially in A.D. 1954 and A.D. 1989, until the Buddha image looks completely beautiful.

Welcome aboard the Grand Pearl Cruise Liner at Wat Chong-lom Pier (Pathum Thani province) for cruising back to Bangkok along the Chao Praya River.

By Boat Cruising: Superb buffet lunch with a choice of a variety of oriental and western cuisines will be served, while you may relax and enjoy the fascinating scenery. The cruise passes through Nonthaburi pier, Koh Kret (Mon’s community) and local Thai villages.
15:00 hrs. Coffee Break

Coffee break will be served while you enjoy the enchanting sights along the rivers such as the Royal barges house, Thammasat University, the Royal Grand Palace, Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn).
16:00 hrs. Arrive at the River City Pier (Shopping Complex)

River City Bangkok is a cultured lifestyle center for arts and antiques where art-lovers and collectors can explore galleries, see international exhibitions, meet artists, attend talks, watch films, bid at auctions, enjoy live music, or gain an understanding of Thailand’s burgeoning contemporary art scene.
17:00 hrs. Arrive back to Centara Grand at Central World by Tuk Tuk

THAILAND WEATHER CONDITIONS IN SEPTEMBER: In September, Thailand generally experiences warm and humid weather. The average daily temperature ranges from 25°C (77°F) to 32°C (90°F), making it a relatively hot month. Rain is typical during September, so an umbrella is highly recommended.

DRESS CODE – Please dress respectfully when you visit any temple in Thailand. Make sure your shoulders are covered (no vests, tank-tops or spaghetti straps) and although skirts or shorts are acceptable at many temples, they should be smart and at least knee-length. Be sure to bring sunglasses and a hat for sun protection.
